Darryl Harkness has joined our advisory board to help promote our cause to increase patient safety and improve hospital margins.
Prior to joining the Ingham Institute Darryl worked for several years with Johnson & Johnson Medical. His most recent post was Vice President of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery. He was also a member of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Australia & New Zealand Board.
During his career, Darryl had a number of overseas postings which included leading the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics businesses in the Asia Pacific and being a member of their Global Management Board.
His business experience has been devoted to providing clinicians with opportunities for working with new technologies to treat patients more effectively. Darryl’s vast experience will enable us to reach out to hospitals to help increase patient safety, help make people better, and to improve hospital margins for continuous improvements in the delivery of care.

Jamie Stanistreet has joined the Touch to Know advisory board. Jamie’s abiding mission in healthcare has always been to change people’s lives for the better by alleviating pain and restoring health. He is currently a Senior Advisor with BioConnexUS a globalization platform for life sciences technologies.
Prior to joining BioConnexUS, Jamie worked with Medtronic ANZ for several years and retired as Managing Director and Vice President. He is still actively involved with the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) where he served for almost 7 years as Vice Chair & Board Member.
Jamie with his years of experience in healthcare gained since 1974 advises us at Touch to Know how to provide safe and effective tracking and traceability of medical product throughout the healthcare supply chain.

Saul Resnick has joined the Touch to Know advisory board. Saul has propelled innovative supply chain solutions for the logistics industry for many years. In both his current role as CEO Australia & New Zealand, and previous roles as Managing Director & Vice President of Life Sciences and Healthcare across Asia Pacific, Saul has been instrumental in working with DHL’s Healthcare customers to innovate and improve efficiency across their supply chains.
He is passionate about the supply chain due to its essential part of the economy, sustainability and everyday lives of people around the world. As the leader of a business which has a direct and significant impact on customers, Saul is driven to be a strong ambassador for change, innovation and improvement within the global DHL business.
Colorectal & Laparoscopic Surgeon
Dr Gareth Owen has joined the advisory board of Touch to Know a technology company focussed on increasing patient safety and improving hospital margins to enable continuous improvement in patient care. Dr Owen specialises in Colorectal Surgery with a particular interest in the Minimally Invasive management of colorectal conditions. He offers the latest in minimally invasive surgery with the da Vinci robotic system where appropriate.
Dr Owen completed his General Surgical training in NSW and then went through the CSSANZ Fellowship training program. He has spent time in both Hong Kong and Korea. Dr Owen has a special interest in Colorectal Cancer and also in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He works closely with the St Vincents IBD Multi-Disciplinary Team to optimize patient outcomes. Dr Owen also has an interest in haemorrhoidal treatment and all aspects of investigation and management of rectal bleeding. Dr Owen also has developed an interest in complex abdominal wall hernias, including biological mesh reconstructions of the abdominal wall.
Dr Owen is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
As a consumer at the end of the hospital supply chain, Dr Owen brings tremendous practical user value to the Touch to Know team.
